You can hardly think of something less romantic than large-scale residential districts, yet whether we like them or not, they are a part of large city landscapes, especially in Eastern European countries like Poland. Together with endless rush-hour traffic, they exemplify the contemporary urban lifestyle. As such, they deserve a little bit of artistic attention, which left me standing in the middle of the street with people around wondering, "What the hell is he taking a picture of?" Well, here they are: ten shots of various residential districts across the city of Gdańsk, Poland.
